Third in line of the tea party pal plushies, this little madam is a partial beanie! (all thanks to an idea sprung by one of lovely *KingMelissa
's comments) Though after hours of trial and error I'm still a bit unhappy with the pattern. The next one needs to have bigger back legs I think About Violette
Violette has been handsewn from the softest, plushiest, high quality minky. She is black, with a ivory white underbelly and blush pink lining in her ears. She has purple safety eyes, the whites around her eyes are ivory white fleece and they've been blinged up with a couple of cute rhinestones. She has a hand embroidered nose and mouth in light pink. There is a hand cut and sewn black and white gingham patch on the inside of one of her ears, decorated at the corner with a pink bow. There are two mismatched buttons on the outside of her opposite ear. She has a handmade ruffle around her neck upcycled from a floral lace trim. I've handcut and sewn a heart patch from pink and white checked fabric onto her left flank and then added detail in the form of a pink and white spotted bow and small pocket watch charm. And finally, her tail is a handmade pompom crafted from ivory yarn.
She is filled with a mixture of polyfiber and rice. (yes rice! I like to use natural and recycled resources as much as I can, and it feels just the same as polypellets!) to give her a weighted beanie feel.
Overall, she took around 20 hours to create.
